My boss asked me to go to smallbusiness.xo.com/ to check out some new business solutions for the office – I don’t know where he gets off! I’m not the office manager, Maggie is, but she’s the most worthless employee I think I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe I’m stuck doing things like research for the office and emptying the dishwasher but you know, I like my job for the most part and it’s a tough economy out there so I’m not exactly trying to find a new job right now. I think it’s crazy I’m expected to do all these things that don’t have anything to do with what I was hired for but you know, I guess it’s all part of the deal when you’re a valuable employee at a small firm and you can be easily replaced, you know? I wish I could afford to start looking for something else but in this job market it’s the best idea for me to just stay here and keep on keeping on with this current position.
