I am so excited for my new purchase. I hope the shipping for that thing will be a little early so that I can use it. That thing is not that expensive though. However, I know it will be of great use for me in my blogging life. actually, I already have new thing for it but it is a bit smaller and I am having a hard time using it. It is kind of waste of money but I think I will just give it to my baby girl when she will get bigger. In addition, I will be using this newly purchase thing for my daily blogging ventures.

Someone once told me that their family always gets a big family gift instead of a bunch of small gifts that nobody even really wants. I thought this was a great way to cut down on expense and clutter, so I asked my family what they thought of the idea. We brainstormed a list of ‘family gifts” that we could get. They included a Wii, a family vacation, a basketball hoop, and a flat screen with a subscription to satellite TV. They are all, obviously, very different in pricing, but we thought that putting together a bunch of different options would make it a fun game. So, we put all of the ideas in a bowl and picked one out. It was very dramatic, and when I announced that satellite TV won, everyone was thrilled! I went to direct tv walnut creek, and ended up spending much less on that then I would have on all of the trinkets added together normally. I think it’s a great tradition, and will probably keep it up!

I watch way too much TV, and that’s the honest truth. When I get home from work I’m usually so exhausted I can’t handle it and then I just plop down on the sofa with something cheesy like Gray’s Anatomyor The Bachelor and just tune the world out. I got cannon satellite not too long ago so now I’ve got about a million channels to surf so there’s never a time that I think “oh, well nothing’s on so I’ll go do something else.” I don’t know how in the world I got so obsessed but you know, I’ve always loved technology and this is just an extension of that. I have to have the first phone, the best laptop, all that stuff, so it makes sense that I watch a lot of TV to really find out what’s going on in the world around me. Look at me, talking like I watch it to get the news or something…I really just watch for all the trashy TV shows and reality programming!
